Every. Single. Morning. I make this drink for myself. It’s been a ritual for years—through two cycles of pregnancy and postpartum. My second child is over two now, and I still have it daily. It’s warm, creamy, and so rich. Aside from the dreamy taste, it’s also packed with nutrients to fuel your body for the day.
Being a MAMA is all about finding tiny windows to do impactful things—to nourish yourself. The last thing you need in an already full-on experience is to be depleted. Treat yourself to something that fuels you up daily, even if it’s just to this yummy cup of joy.
Here’s the Recipe:
- 1 cup Coffee or Tea* (while pregnant or breastfeeding, I used decaf coffee or Four Sigmatic Instant Packets—they only have 50 mg of caffeine)
- 1 Tbsp Mushroom Cacao
- Vanilla Collagen (if you’re using plain, add a date or a dash of maple syrup for sweetness)
- Raw Cream (a generous splash, about 1-2 oz)
- Dash of Cinnamon
- Shilajit
*Nettle or Tulsi Rose are my favorites to sub coffee
